Fourth-year St. Thomas University student Mary-Dan Johnston has won the Rhodes Scholarship. The scholarship is valued at approximately $100,000 and pays for a post-graduate degree at Oxford University. The 22-year-old interdisciplinary student from Halifax, Nova Scotia was one of about 50 Maritime applicants who applied, and 11 who were interviewed in Charlottetown, P.E.I. this weekend. [...]
